Uhh Notes(日本語名「言えなかったノート」、以下「本アプリ」)の開発者は、本アプリを使う方の情報を次のとおり扱います。
1. 端末の中だけに保存する情報
次の情報は、お使いの端末の中にだけ保存し、開発者を含む外部には送りません。本アプリにアカウントやクラウド同期はありません。
- 録音・入力したメモの文、その訳、訳に添えたメモ
- 復習の記録(いつ声に出したか、言えたかどうか、次の復習日)
- 母国語・学習する言語・1日の件数などの設定
- Uhh Notes Pro の購入状態と、無料トライアルを始めた日時
本アプリを削除すると、これらの情報も端末から消えます。お使いの端末のバックアップ(iCloud バックアップなど)をとっている場合は、Apple の仕組みによりそのバックアップに含まれます。翻訳モデルはバックアップに含めません。
2. 外部と通信する場面
本アプリが外部と通信するのは次の場面だけです。メモの文や訳を送ることはありません。
- アップデートとメンテナンスの確認: 起動時に、Google LLC の Firebase Remote Config から「アップデートが必要か」「メンテナンス中か」の設定を受け取ります。その際、Firebase のインストール ID(アプリごとに作られるランダムな ID)、アプリのバージョン、端末の OS の種類、IP アドレスなどが Google に送られます。広告や利用状況の解析には使いません。
- 翻訳モデルのダウンロード: 初めて訳す時などに、端末の中で動く翻訳モデル(Preferred Networks の PLaMo 3 Translate)を Hugging Face, Inc. のサーバーからダウンロードします。その際、IP アドレスなどの通信に必要な情報が Hugging Face に送られます。訳すこと自体は端末の中で行い、文は送りません。
- 音声入力: 話した言葉を文字にするため、端末の音声認識機能を使います。iPhone・iPad では、話した音声が Apple に送られて文字にされることがあります。Apple による扱いは端末の「設定」の「Siri と音声入力のプライバシー」と Apple のプライバシーポリシー をご覧ください。マイクを使うのは録音している間だけで、音声を本アプリが保存したり開発者に送ったりすることはありません。
- 購入: Uhh Notes Pro の購入・復元・無料トライアルは Apple の App Store を通じて行います。支払いの情報は Apple が扱い、開発者は受け取りません。
Google・Hugging Face・Apple のサーバーは日本国外(主に米国)にあることがあります。各社による情報の扱いは Google のプライバシーポリシー、Firebase のプライバシーとセキュリティ、Hugging Face のプライバシーポリシー をご覧ください。
3. 使っていないもの
- 広告は表示しません。
- 利用状況の解析ツールや、クラッシュ情報を集めるツールは組み込んでいません。
- ほかのアプリやウェブサイトをまたいだ追跡(トラッキング)は行いません。
- 位置情報・連絡先・写真・カメラにはアクセスしません。
- 情報を売ったり、第三者に提供したりしません(法令にもとづく場合を除きます)。
4. 未成年の方へ
翻訳に使う PLaMo のライセンスにより、18歳未満の方は保護者の同意を得てからお使いください。

This policy explains how the developer of Uhh Notes ("the app") handles information about the people who use it.
1. Information kept only on your device
The following stays on your device and is never sent to the developer or anyone else. The app has no account and no cloud sync.
- The notes you record or type, their translations, and any notes you add to a translation
- Your review history (when you said a note out loud, whether you could say it, and the next review date)
- Settings such as your native language, the language you are learning, and the daily review count
- Whether you have bought Uhh Notes Pro, and when you started the free trial
Deleting the app deletes this information from your device. If you back up your device (for example with iCloud Backup), Apple includes it in that backup. The translation model is excluded from backups.
2. When the app goes online
The app connects to outside services only in these cases. It never sends your notes or translations.
- Checking for required updates and maintenance: at launch, the app gets two settings ("is an update required?" and "is the app under maintenance?") from Firebase Remote Config by Google LLC. This sends Google a Firebase installation ID (a random ID created for the app), the app version, the type of operating system, your IP address and similar technical information. It is not used for advertising or usage analytics.
- Downloading the translation model: the first time you translate, the app downloads the on-device translation model (PLaMo 3 Translate by Preferred Networks) from servers run by Hugging Face, Inc. This sends Hugging Face the information needed for the download, such as your IP address. Translation itself runs on your device, and your text is not sent.
- Voice input: the app uses your device's speech recognition to turn what you say into text. On iPhone and iPad, what you say may be sent to Apple to be transcribed. See "About Siri, Dictation & Privacy" in your device's Settings and Apple's Privacy Policy. The microphone is used only while you are recording, and the app does not keep the audio or send it to the developer.
- Purchases: buying or restoring Uhh Notes Pro and starting the free trial go through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment details, and the developer does not receive them.
Servers of Google, Hugging Face and Apple may be located outside your country (mainly in the United States). For how they handle information, see Google's Privacy Policy, Firebase privacy and security and Hugging Face's Privacy Policy.
3. What the app does not use
- No ads.
- No usage analytics or crash reporting tools.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
- No access to your location, contacts, photos or camera.
- We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except where required by law.
4. If you are under 18
Under the license of PLaMo, which the app uses for translation, please get a parent's or guardian's consent before using the app if you are under 18.
5. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page.
